"Butterfly Bakery gives us a market we don’t have to invent or manage every single day. If I get a flat tire, I’m not missing my one chance to sell that week. Our days are more predictable and our mission is clearer. We can focus on growing 15 crops really well instead of juggling 30 just to stay competitive at the farmers’ market. I can focus on farming instead of marketing."

True Love Farm
True Love Farm, located in Shaftsbury, Vermont, is a sustainable, diversified 30-acre farm growing roughly 5-acres of vegetables, blueberries and cut flowers annually.
Started and run by Karen and Steven Trubitt, True Love Farm puts a tremendous amount of emphasis on maintaining a vibrant ecosystem and growing nutrient-dense vegetables and fruit with superior flavor.
As stewards of a healthy environment, True Love Farm, among other things, runs their greenhouse on wood instead of fossil fuels to heat their early season transplants. They also choose to NOT run early season heated tomato houses which tend to use giant propane furnaces and work vigorously to minimize the use of plastics.
