"Butterfly Bakery gives us a market we don’t have to invent or manage every single day. If I get a flat tire, I’m not missing my one chance to sell that week. Our days are more predictable and our mission is clearer. We can focus on growing 15 crops really well instead of juggling 30 just to stay competitive at the farmers’ market. I can focus on farming instead of marketing."

Joneslan Farm
Joneslan Farm is a family-run dairy farm located in Hyde Park, VT. Established in 1872, the farm has experienced 5 generations of Jones Families and is currently owned and operated by brothers, Brian and Steven Jones.
The history of the farm included milking up to 320 dairy cows and raising as many as 220 heifers. As of May 2020 the farm auctioned all of their cows and much of their equipment in preparation for a transition to goat farming. In December 2020 Joneslan Farm received their first shipments of goats, and by February 2021 the goat milking parlor was completed, and milking began.
Today the farm has around 600 adult goats and nearly 100 kids, with the goal of exceeding 1,000 milking goats. Recipients of goats milk from Joneslan Farm currently include Vermont Creamery and Fat Toad Farm.
