Just a little caramel

Just a little caramel

Hey Friends,

It starts with a spoon and a jar. Maybe you tell yourself you are just checking the texture. Just making sure it is still as smooth as you remember.

At Fat Toad Farm, we have heard this story many times.

It always begins with “just a little caramel.”

The spoon goes back in for a second taste. Not because you need it, but because now you are noticing something new. The way the goat’s milk brings a gentle richness. The way the sweetness lingers without rushing. The way it feels… almost necessary to understand it one more time.

Before long, the jar is no longer full. You are standing at the counter. The spoon has stopped pretending.

I get it.

Our caramel is made the slow way, with fresh goat’s milk sourced from small dairies and cooked carefully in small batches until it reaches that deep, balanced flavor. It is not designed for restraint. It is designed for enjoyment.

And while we could suggest using it properly,
made into caramel popcorn,
baked into coffee rolls,
nestled inside a baked brie,

We also know the truth.

Sometimes the best way is the simplest way. A spoon, a jar, and no one watching.

So if you find yourself reaching into the jar again tonight, just remember
you are not alone.

P.S. If you are planning to share, pick them up their own jar. Experience suggests the first one rarely stretches that far.
