I almost forgot to send out the weekly email! I’m at the Big E now. It’s the 4th largest fair in the US and we’re vending for all 17 12-hour days. “A lot” is an understatement. I’m reasonably confident that the 25,000 sample taster spoons we brought will be enough.
Maple Wood Smoked Onion Hot Sauce is the rockstar of the show. We’re definitely going to sell more of it than we planned for. I love watching folks taste it for the first time. It’s our most popular for a reason.
A lot of folks are coming over for the Hot Ones sauces. To challenge themselves with Taco Vibes Only or Smoked Serrano Squash Reaper X. And then it’s great when they’re all, “But that’s so GOOD!” And then they buy the As Seen on Hot Ones Quartet.
Today was a rainy slow day, but all of the other vendors are telling me that this is normal for the rain and it’s not supposed to rain for the rest of the week. So, I’ll take the breather where I can.
