Pepper Patron Hot Sauce Class

Ever wondered how hot sauce actually gets made?

As a Pepper Patron, you'll get to do something we haven't offered publicly in more than seven years: spend an afternoon making hot sauce with us.

Join us in our Barre, Vermont kitchen for a hands-on class with BBVT Founder Claire Georges and Kitchen Manager Ari. You'll learn how we develop our sauces, balance flavor and heat, choose ingredients, and turn a pile of peppers into something that you want to put on everything.

We'll cover the basics of safely bottling and preserving hot sauce, tour our production facility, answer your burning hot sauce questions, and help you create your own bottle to take home.

This class is part of the 2026 Pepper Patron Club, a community of hot sauce fans who get a closer look at the farms, peppers, harvest, and sauce-making process behind Butterfly Bakery of Vermont.

Whether you're an experienced home cook or simply curious about how hot sauce is made, this is a rare opportunity to learn directly from the people who do it every day. Space is limited to just 10 Pepper Patrons per session.
