Good Beginnings of Central Vermont
Good Beginnings of Central Vermont is the community’s hub of information, support, and connection for prenatal and postpartum families and individuals. Since 1991, this nonprofit organization has provided in-home support for postpartum caregivers, sending their Postpartum Angel volunteers into the homes of new parents for respite, connection, companionship, connection to community, and hands-on help.
The dedicated staff of three women, all mothers of young children, also provide help accessing resources for breastfeeding and parenting support, postpartum depression, and basic needs. Good Beginnings hosts parenting workshops, babywearing consultations, Baby and Caregiver Meetups, and has a drop-in space for caregivers and babies called The Nest, open five days a week, which is adjacent to their office on River St. in Montpelier, Vermont.
All of Good Beginnings of Central Vermont offerings are free of charge for everyone. Click to learn more.
