Discovering caramel all over again

One of the unexpected joys of buying a brand that someone else founded is hearing people say, “Oh yeah, I love that stuff. I’ve had it for years!” That's always great.

But every now and again, we find ourselves in a place where the caramel hasn't been discovered yet. And that’s when we get to see something even better: someone trying it for the first time.

That’s what the NYNow Gift Show was like. We just got back (a couple hours ago) from our 4th trade show of the year. We saw a few familiar faces, but most of the folks there were brand new. People walked up to our booth expecting something good, and then we’d see that shift to, “Oh. Ohhh. I didn’t know it would be this good.”

It’s been a total joy to share our goat’s milk caramel with people who have never tasted it before. Made from the sweetest milk and cooked slowly to velvety perfection, it’s the kind of treat that speaks for itself.
