We're often asked...
"What should I eat the caramel on?" I think that the better question is, "Is there anything that the caramel *doesn't* taste good on?"
This time of year, when spring is springing and I'm eager for more fresh and light, instead of rich and heavy, I love caramel with yogurt, granola and fruit. I love it in the morning or as a dessert. I mean, it doesn't disappoint as a midday snack either. Just a drizzle of caramel over the top makes the simple sublime.
