Start with some amazing Shadow Creek Farm Red Jalapenos. Then smoke them over Maine maple wood (I can't find Vermont maple wood chips - trust me, I tried). Then mash them, brine them and stuff them in a Dunc's Mill Rum barrel and ferment. Oh yes. Soooo good.
I made this batch just a little differently than my previous rum barrel fermented hot sauces (I'm dialing in on my rum barrel mojo) and as a result this batch is going to be smaller than the ones that came before. So I'm doing a 30 bottle pre-order release to make sure that those in the know get to get while the getting is good. Everyone else will just have to wait until the hot sauce is done to see how many bottles are left.
The actual bottles of hot sauce will ship in early April.

Everything ships from our bakery in Montpelier, Vermont and generally orders going to individuals go out via USPS and wholesale orders go out either via FedEx or USPS depending on size (Please note: Larger web orders may still ship out via FedEx - please contact us if you would prefer your order to ship via a particular carrier - additional charges may apply).
