We have 9 "big" flavors of hot sauce that are available year round and in stores (5 made with Vermont craft beers and 4 teetotalers). All other flavors are made in small ever changing 24-150 bottle batches on our stove. If you like a microbatch flavor, buy a lot, because it might never be made again. It's fun to keep you on your toes that way.
The hot sauces all come in those standard 5oz hot sauce bottles. As for ingredients, these are all vinegar based hot sauces with no gums or fillers. The ingredients (besides Vermont grown peppers, organic white vinegar and salt) are generally right there in the title. Send us a quick email if you need more specific details on a given flavor.

Heady Pepper - Made with the world famous Heady Topper IPA, this medium hot hot sauce is made with green jalapenos and will deliver you right up to hop sauce heaven. 🔥🔥🔥
Maple Garlic Stout - 14th Star’s Maple Breakfast Stout brings a rich depth to this “more than a sriracha” hot sauce. This medium hot jalapeno hot sauce is excellent on spring rolls, stir frys and fancy burgers.🔥🔥🔥
Habanero Lime Switchback - Switchback’s well balanced, smooth, signature ale rounds out the lively kick of Vermont grown habaneros and organic lime juice. This hot sauce with a burn is great on tacos, cocktails and seafood. Or, you know, everywhere... 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Peppercorn Porter - Peppercorn Porter attacks twice - first with the jalapenos and then with an uppercut of black pepper. But then it soothes you with the sumptuous malt from the lovely Yorkshire Porter from Queen City Brewery. This medium hot sauce is great on eggs, steaks and in a Bloody Mary. 🔥🔥🔥
Apple Apple Maple Apple - This medium hot jalapeno hot sauce is full to the brim with Vermont. Made with apple cider vinegar, hard apple cider, actual apples and just a touch of dark maple syrup - all grown in our Green Mountain State. The only things missing are the covered bridge and the cow. 🔥🔥🔥
The Big Non-Beer Hot Sauce Flavors:
Maple Sugar Shack Sriracha - Garlicky maple sweet heat. This is one of our most popular hot sauces and is made with some spectacular red jalapenos, organic garlic scapes and pure Vermont maple syrup. 🔥🔥🔥
Vermont Habs - Nothing but Vermont's beautiful, fruity, kick you in the face habanero peppers, organic white vinegar and salt. This one is plenty hot. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Smoked Onion - This is our newest "big" hot sauce. We maplewood smoke Vermont onions and cook them up with red Vermont jalapenos. This is a truly spectacular hot sauce that might just be my new favorite. 🔥🔥🔥
Cilantro Onion - straight forward with mid-level heat this is our signature "use on anything and everything" hot sauce made with green jalapenos, robust cilantro and sweet Vermont onions.🔥🔥🔥

#1632 Mon Petit Chou - The French have made cabbage into a word of endearment, so we made it into a hot sauce! This is a earthy, supportive medium hot jalapeno hot sauce that goes great on egg rolls, marinades, and picnic salads of all varieties.🔥🔥🔥
#1635 Hopped Cider Carrot - This is a seriously Vermont terroir medium hot sauce. We used Maple Wind Farm green jalapenos, then we cooked in 100% local apple dry-hopped hard cider from Stowe Cider, deliciously sweet Bear Roots Farm carrots, and Vermont made, Vermont apple cider vinegar from Artesano. Someday we’ll figure out how to harvest salt here too.🔥🔥🔥
#1639 Garlic Honey Mustard - You know when all your favorite flavors combine in one place and you get so excited that you just have to get out there and grill a sausage, top it with said flavors, then crack open your favorite craft beer with your favorite people while you and your crew enjoy the awesomeness? Oh no? Just me? Well this medium hot jalapeno hot sauce hot sauce is that. Trust. 🔥🔥🔥
#1717 Rum Barrel Fermented Smoked Jalapeno - 12 bottle release, while they last! In celebration of stuffing the new barrel, we are releasing the last 12 bottles of our last batch of this deeply-wooded fermented in a Dunc's Mill oak rum barrel hot sauce. $10/bottle, one bottle per person. 🔥🔥🔥
#1720 Scape Sauce - This is not actually a hot sauce as it contains no heat or peppers. But I make it just like I make the hot sauces, but with garlic scapes instead of peppers (scapes are the lovely green curly cues that grow above ground on a garlic plant). The vibrant garlic flavor of the part of the garlic plant that farmers usually turn back into the soil makes for a thick and versatile sauce.
#1724 Roast Jalapeno Scottish Ale - Well rounded, robust and full bodied. This medium hot Roast Jalapeno Scottish Ale Hot Sauce is made with Kingsbury Market Garden red jalapenos and excellent on tacos, eggs, and soup.🔥🔥🔥
#1726 Chocolate Ghost - We have brought back an old, old favorite from our early days of hot sauce making (I think the first batch of this was only 13 bottles). This is a maple sweetened, dark chocolate, burn your face off hot sauce that would be great on burritos (think molé) or pie. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
#1728 Maple Coffee - Brio Coffeeworks coffee and pure Vermont maple syrup give a rich toasty undertone to the Dutchess Farm red jalapenos. This medium hot sauce is excellent on chips, tacos, and, of course, your morning eggs.🔥🔥🔥
#1737 Garlic Cranberry - We first made Garlic Cranberry Hot Sauce back in our early hot sauce days. Back when we made 20 bottle batches to sell at the farmers market. This was one of those flavors that folks kept waxing poetic about, so when I saw those delicious and bouncy Vermont cranberries at the store, I decided that it was time for a throwback flavor. This version is made with Shadow Creek Farm jalapenos and True Love Farm cayennes. 🔥🔥🔥
#1738 Smoked Onion Ghost - We smoked deliciously sweet Vermont onions over maple wood and then blended them together with blazingly hot Dutchess Farm ghost peppers to create this well balanced and vibrant hot sauce that is amazing on pizza or ramen.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
#1739 Vienna Beer Mustard - We make hot sauce. We make mustard. We love good beer. It took us surprisingly long to realize that we really ought to be making a beer mustard hot sauce. So we did. And it was good. On sausage. On pizza. On salad. And on burgers. This condiment of perfection is made with von Trapp Brewery Vienna Style Lager and Dog River Farm red jalapenos. 🔥🔥🔥
The Exception to the Rule (Limit 2 bottles per person per batch):
We make special, exclusive batches of hot sauce for The Alchemist (maker of Heady Topper - one of the world's best IPA's). This used to be only available at The Alchemist's shop, but they are now letting us hold back a limited number of cases for sale on our website. These are only available until they run out and then won't be back until the next batch that we make for The Alchemist (usually every 1-2 months).
Red Heady - (AKA Heady Topper Owner's Reserve) This is a hot sauce that we make specially for The Alchemist. We’ve crafted a custom blend of Vermont jalapenos and habaneros which mix beautifully with Heady Topper’s bright hoppiness and together deliver you right up to hop sauce heaven. Limit 2 bottles per person per month (if you order more, I will glower in your general direction and cancel your order). 🔥🔥🔥

Everything ships from our bakery in Montpelier, Vermont and generally orders going to individuals go out via USPS and wholesale orders go out either via FedEx or USPS depending on size (Please note: Larger web orders may still ship out via FedEx - please contact us if you would prefer your order to ship via a particular carrier - additional charges may apply).
