  • We have 8 "big" flavors of hot sauce that are available year round and in stores. All other flavors are made in small ever changing 24-150 bottle batches on our stove. If you like a microbatch flavor, buy a lot, because it might never be made again. It's fun to keep you on your toes that way.

    The hot sauces all come in those standard 5oz hot sauce bottles. As for ingredients, these are all vinegar based hot sauces with no gums or fillers. The ingredients (besides Vermont grown peppers, organic white vinegar and salt) are generally right there in the title. Send us a quick email if you need more specific details on a given flavor.

    Heady Pepper - Made with the world famous Heady Topper IPA, this medium hot hot sauce is made with green jalapenos and will deliver you right up to hop sauce heaven. Green jalapeños, organic white vinegar, The Alchemist's Heady Topper IPA, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    Maple Rum Chipotle - Gosh, I love bringing folks favorites into the big leagues. This hot sauce is a warm hug of St Johnsbury Distillery's Maple Rum, Vermont jalapenos that we maple wood smoke ourselves, and a sweet splash of pure Vermont maple syrup. This makes for a great pizza and chili sauce. Maple wood smoked red jalapeños, organic white vinegar, Eastman Long & Sons pure Vermont maple syrup, St. Johnsbury Distillery Maple Rum, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    Vienna Lager Mustard - We make hot sauce. We make mustard. We love good beer. It took us surprisingly long to realize that we really ought to be making a beer mustard hot sauce. So we did. And it was good. On sausage. On pizza. On salad. And on burgers. This condiment of perfection is made with von Trapp Brewery Vienna Style Lager and Vermont serranos. Red Serranos, organic white vinegar, Von Trapp Vienna Lager, organic ground yellow mustard seed, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    Habanero Lime Switchback - Switchback’s well balanced, smooth, signature ale rounds out the lively kick of Vermont grown habaneros and organic lime juice. This hot sauce with a burn is great on tacos, cocktails and seafood. Or, you know, everywhere... Red habaneros, organic white vinegar, Switchback Ale, organic lime juice, salt. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

    Maple Sugar Shack Sriracha - Garlicky maple sweet heat. This is one of our most popular hot sauces and is made with some spectacular red jalapenos, organic garlic scapes and pure Vermont maple syrup. Also a 4-time Hot Pepper Award Winner! Red jalapeños, organic white vinegar, garlic scapes, Eastman Long & Sons pure Vermont maple syrup, salt. 🔥🔥🔥 

    Vermont Habs - Habaneros grown in Vermont's lush soil mean that our hot sauces deliver just as much flavor as heat. The subtle fruitiness of habaneros grown just for us isn't masked by sweeteners, gums and other stuff that you don't want. Vermont Habs is a fabulous habit. Red habaneros, organic white vinegar, salt. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

    Smoked Onion - This started as a one off batch flavor. Then folks wanted another batch. And another. It was around the fourth "one off batch" that we realized that maple wood smoked onions and Vermont grown chili peppers makes for some fabulous hot sauce. 2-time Hot Pepper Award Winner and featured on Season 7 of Hot Ones! Red serranos, organic white vinegar, maple wood smoked onions, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    Cilantro Onion - straight forward with mid-level heat this is our signature "use on anything and everything" hot sauce made with green jalapenos, robust cilantro and sweet Vermont onions. Green jalapeños, organic white vinegar, onions, cilantro, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    #2030 Fermented Chili Garlic - We aged this fermented garlic chili blend to develop a rich umami. this less-the-medium hot, deeply flavored hot sauce tastes great on tacos, cheese and stir fry. 🔥🔥

    #2031 Maple Ghost Chocolate - Maple Ghost Chocolate is one of our most-requested repeats. This is a sweet, rich and blazingly hot sauce that is good on beans, turkey and ice cream. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

    #2036 Rosemary Lemon - We love working with unique pepper varieties and ingredients. These special jalapeños ripen to yellow and orange. If peppers were sails and onions the boat, rosemary is the gentle wind to carry it across lemon seas. This sauce mates well with chicken, whole wheat pasta, and oysters. Yellow Spice and Orange Spice jalapeños, white vinegar, onions, lemon juice, salt, rosemary, black pepper. 🔥🔥🔥

    #2038 Honey Hungarian - The Boldog pepper is a namesake of the town Not East of Budapest. Traditionally dried and ground for paprika, these peppers are fruity and slightly sweet when fresh. With a light touch of Bee Haven Vermont honey, this sauce works great as a dipping sauce, on pizza, or with cabbage. Quill Hill Farm Boldog Hungarian peppers, Artesano white vinegar, Bee Haven Vermont honey, salt. 🚫🔥

    #2042 Scape Sauce - This is not actually a hot sauce as it contains no heat or peppers. I make it just like I make the hot sauces, but with garlic scapes instead of peppers (scapes are the lovely green curly cues that grow above ground on a garlic plant). The vibrant garlic flavor of the part of the garlic plant that farmers usually turn back into the soil makes for a thick and versatile sauce. 🚫🔥

    #2045 Different Peppers #3 - It's amazing how different different chili peppers can taste. Our "Different Peppers" line of sauces shows off the widely varying flavors of some of the less-used peppers that grow on Vermont farms. This bright and happy sauce goes well on pork burritos, kale salad, or made into a Bloody Maria.  Organic white vinegar, Dutchess Farm ray paquai pepper, Dutchess Farm roulette pepper, Pete's Greens cayenne pepper, Honeyfield Farm lemon pepper, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    #2047 Vermont Cantaloupe - The fragrance of ripe cantaloupes in the garden is unmistakable. We combined Vermont grown cantaloupes with similarly fragrant orange habaneros to create a juicy and lightly floral sauce. It will brighten up grain bowls, complement a cheese plate, and add another dimension to buttered toast at breakfast.  Organic white vinegar, Dutchess Farm orange habanero, Vermont grown cantaloupe, Dutch Gold wildflower honey, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    #2048 Rapture - Any sauce we make with The Alchemist is a slice of "hop sauce heaven", but this could be 7th Heaven. Robust red jalapeños are elevated by an expert blend of Galaxy and Citra hops for a full, happy, hoppy flavor. This sauce is perfect for pizza, steak tips, and hearty salads.  Red jalapeños, organic white vinegar, The Alchemist's Rapture IPA, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    #2049 Maple Coffee Ghost - Super spicy, super savory, super sauce! we steeped Brio Coffeeworks Tres Damas coffee to infuse rich earthy tones of cacao nibs and walnut into a sweet and savory blend of chocolate ghost peppers and pure Vermont maple syrup. This sauce will kick up your eggs, deepen a lamb roast, or italicize the HOT in a hot fudge sundae.  Organic white vinegar, Dutchess Farm chocolate ghost pepper, Eastman Long & Sons pure Vermont maple syrup, Brio Coffeeworks Tres Damas coffee, salt. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

    #2050 Cilantro Jalapeno Lime - Our Cilantro Jalapeno LIme hot sauce will brighten up any dish. It makes a great marinade or quick soup addition. It tastes great on salad or as a dipper for grilled fish. Dutchess Farm green jalapeño mash, organic white vinegar, Dutchess Farm cilantro, organic lime juice, salt. 🔥🔥🔥

    #2051 Garlic Maple Red Poblano - The world of hot sauce can be intimidating, with makers pushing the limits of heat. We decided to mellow out a bit! A gentle heat rom ripe red poblanos and garlic scapes gives tasty sensations of salsa or sriracha. Use this sauce liberally on chicken, dress a taco salad, or liven up avocado on toast. Organic white vinegar, red poblano, Full Moon Farm garlic scapes, Eastman Long & Sons pure Vermont maple syrup, salt. 🔥

     The Exception to the Rule

    We make special, exclusive batches of hot sauce for The Alchemist (maker of Heady Topper - one of the world's best IPA's). This used to be only available at The Alchemist's shop, but they are now letting us hold back a limited number of cases for sale on our website. These are only available until they run out and then won't be back until the next batch that we make for The Alchemist (usually every 1-2 months).

    Red Heady - (AKA Heady Pepper Owner's Reserve) This is a hot sauce that we make specially for The Alchemist. We’ve crafted a custom blend of Vermont jalapenos and habaneros which mix beautifully with Heady Topper’s bright hoppiness and together deliver you right up to hop sauce heaven. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
